What is your role at CompuCom?
In November 2016, I was appointed CompuCom's CEO, responsible for providing global leadership and operational excellence to advance our company's mission and strategy. Along with CompuCom's leadership team, we are shaping and accelerating a strategy that enables CompuCom to deliver "best-in-breed" IT services and solutions to our clients. Prior to that, I was EVP and president of CompuCom's End-User Enablement (EUE) business unit and the president of Tech-Zone. The EUE vision is to standardize and simplify end-user IT support, empowering our clients to have greater transparency and predictability than ever before from their IT services. The Tech-Zone team continues to build out our Tech-Zone service locations to serve our small- to medium-sized business clients with convenient walk-up IT services.

What are some fun facts about you?
In addition to English, I speak Hebrew and can get by in Arabic and Portuguese. I like to make an effort to communicate with others in their native language, when possible. I have worked and lived in eight countries and have almost four million flight miles under my belt. I also used to be a nationally ranked marksman and served as a Team Commander in the Israeli Defense Forces. 

What are some key achievements at CompuCom?
We’ve rapidly established the new End-User Enablement business with a reinvigorated focus on operational efficacy, taking our customer service levels to new, highest levels with our First-time Fix increasing by over 30 percent and our parts inventory reduced by 50 percent. We developed the Tech-Zone service center concept – taking it from the drawing board to pilot stores to prime time. Our on-site, walk-up Solution Cafés continue to expand at client sites – more than 60 of these are the driving force for ensuring convenient IT support and client satisfaction for our enterprise clients and their end users. We also created a new catalog management function, a process flow that begins with our portfolio team deciding which solutions to take to market, based on comprehensive research and development. 

What motivates you at work?
I have a passion for innovating, building new things and seeing the end result. It can be challenging to stay ahead of the market in defining new IT solutions, but I thrive on addressing market changes with services and knowledge that meet our clients’ needs before others get there.
