As the Chief Marketing Officer at Compucom, Heather Lockhart is responsible for creating and accelerating the company’s marketing strategy and brand recognition across the globe. She is focused on driving the company vision of connecting people, technology and the edge with a seamless experience by building marketing programs and thought leadership to promote their expertise in enabling the hybrid digital workplace and their commitment to providing exceptional distributed technology support and services to their customers.
Previously, Heather was the Chief Marketing Officer of October Hill International, a leading global professional services organization focused on driving the growth, transformation and strategic enablement of many of the world’s leading brands. She was accountable for the development of the marketing strategy worldwide and rebuilt the company’s brand within her first nine months in the role. During her tenure, the business achieved double-digit revenue growth for eight consecutive quarters. Prior to joining October Hill, she spent 10 years leading marketing for hypergrowth business-to-business technology leaders in both SaaS and managed services including AvidXchange, a well-known fintech unicorn. Under her leadership, Heather built global organizations recognized for developing strong brands and consistent messaging that gave businesses a leading voice in their industry. Prior to joining the B2B marketing world, Heather spent the first half of her career in marketing leadership roles with some of the world’s most well-recognized and respected consumer brands including Mobil Oil, Volvo, AOL and Disney.
Heather has significant experience across marketing and product development, event management, branding, lead generation, public relations and investor relations, strategic planning, revenue management, organizational design and innovation. She has strong cultural competence leading global teams and is a dynamic public speaker and team motivator. A strong champion for women’s leadership and diversity at Compucom, Heather serves as the executive sponsor for Compucom’s global Women in Technology affinity group.
Heather is a graduate of Virginia Tech and holds an MBA in International Marketing as well as a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, Public Relations and Advertising.
