As Chief Marketing Officer, Jonathan James is responsible for leading CompuCom’s marketing functions, including product/service brand management, lead generation, events, marketing communications, public relations, and sales enablement. Jonathan is an experienced marketing and communications executive with a deep background in building global brands on tight budgets. He is skilled in positioning, messaging, sales support and lead generation, analyst relations, investor relations, as well as internal and external communications.
Prior to joining CompuCom, Jonathan served as Associate Vice President-Global Marketing for the Strategic Global Sourcing unit at Infosys as well as VP of Global Marketing for Unisys, and executive marketing and communications management roles with Syntel, Inc., Ameritech, and ProQuest (formerly UMI/Bell+Howell).
Jonathan is a frequent speaker at marketing/technology conferences and is a member of the American Marketing Association/Triangle Chapter in North Carolina. He earned a B.A. from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
