As CompuCom’s General Counsel, Sharon Johnson oversees the company’s global legal affairs and provides strategic counsel that contributes to the protection of the organization and overall strategic objectives.
Sharon joined CompuCom from VCE, EMC’s converged platforms division, where she most recently served as Deputy General Counsel. In that role, she provided legal and business counsel to executive leadership and business units as they pioneered the production and delivery of next-generation converged solutions that helped enterprises and service providers transition to cloud-enabled business models. As one of the original members of the VCE team, Sharon helped to grow the business from the ground-up to a company that consistently grew 50%+ year-over-year to reach over $2billion in revenues in five years.
Prior to VCE, Sharon was Assistant General Counsel at Anthelio Healthcare Solutions (formerly known as PHNS Inc.) and Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at Venyu Solutions Inc. She previously worked as an attorney for Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. and held various roles with Verizon.
Sharon earned an MBA from the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University and holds a Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M University School of Law (formerly known as Texas Wesleyan School of Law). Sharon is admitted to the Texas Bar.
