FORT MILL, SC, October 11, 2023 – Compucom Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Heather Lockhart has been named among nine finalists for the inaugural CRN Women of the Year Award – Marketing Executive category.
A panel of judges selected the finalists from more than 300 applicants. CRN editors and members of the channel community at large will now choose the winners, who will be announced and celebrated at the CRN Women of the Year Awards Gala on December 5 in New York City. Besides Lockhart, marketing executives from brands such as Dell Technologies, Google Cloud, and NVIDIA are among the finalists.
For the past 18 months, since the company launched a new brand identity, Lockhart has been positioning Compucom as a thought leader in today’s digital workplace that includes hybrid and fully remote work models.
“For more than three decades, Compucom has been helping enterprises provide their employees with the right technology and support, ensuring a more engaged and productive workplace.
Heather Lockhart, Compucom CMO
We know in this hybrid work environment, companies, now more than ever, need the right technology solutions and services partner they can trust to be there when they need them most. Our marketing efforts lean into that need, highlighting the unique role we play in connecting the dots between work, technology, and people.”
Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company, said his organization is proud to recognize the remarkable accomplishments of all the CRN Women of the Year Awards finalists.
Leading From in Front
Lockhart and team have executed several successful initiatives this past year, leveraging all facets of the integrated marketing communications mix. This includes working directly with key innovative technology providers such as Intel, Apple, Lenovo, and Microsoft to advance the digital workplace every day. The company launched a social media campaign – dubbed Did You Know? – designed to increase overall awareness of the vast solutions, facts and successes Compucom has had over the years. In addition, the company dove deeper into the attitudes of remote and hybrid workers toward the technology they use for work. This campaign revolves around a national survey with results presented to industry analysts and leveraged for media relations, white papers, blogs, social posts and more. The company also has been a major sponsor of key industry events, including the CIO 100, which recognizes the nation’s top CIOs.
“Our marketing team’s mission is crystal clear: cut through the clutter in the marketplace and effectively and efficiently spread the word about Compucom,” Compucom CEO Kevin Shank said. “Heather has led a smart and agile marketing and communications team in a successful corporate rebranding effort that continues to gain momentum. In addition, she is a key voice among our executive leadership team with her deep industry knowledge and ability to connect our story with key stakeholders, including our own associates, customers and prospective customers, partners, suppliers, and key industry influencers.”
